Protesting Vets |

We the Veterans of these United States of America feel it is our time to speak out about the recent protests during the National Anthem.
We fully respect the right of every citizen of these United States to have the right to protest. That being said, there is some
contradictions resonating from these athletes in regards to their reasons for protesting during the National Anthem. It has been said they are protesting descrimination and supporting equality for all citizens. This is a noble cause in our eyes and one that we support. That being said, when you are protesting the flag and our National Anthem you are displaying the opposite. Ask any soldier. They will tell you, in the military there is only one color, that is green. We have fought together and many have died together in support of One Nation Under God. The National Anthem and the Flag for which it stands are symbols in support of these United States. As much as a we respect the fight they are supporting during their protests, we do not hold much respect for them disrespecting our soldiers. To us they are spitting in the eye of every soldier, veteran, and the graves of those who gave it all to ensure that future generations have the right to protest. Continue your protests as you see fit. If you truly believe in equality and wish to see our great states united, stand up for the flag. Show the National Anthem and the Red, White, and Blue the respect our great soldiers have come to understand.
